The suite we booked was spacious and comfortable, offering a super king bed that delivered an excellent night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and the quietude of the room, which provided a perfect retreat after exploring the charming village. The location was ideal, especially for those visiting the nearby Donnington race circuit. the opportunity to explore the lovely gardens at Melbourne Hall made it worth the visit. While dining options were limited to the pub's dinner service by 7pm on Sundays, the staff were exceedingly accommodating, allowing us to bring in takeaway pizza to enjoy in their lounge area-a thoughtful touch. Harpur's also provides amenities like free Wi-Fi and free parking, enhancing the overall value of the stay. If you're looking for a balance of luxury and practicality, this hotel certainly checks the boxes, making it a wise choice for value-driven travelers.
